T.R.U.B.B.L.E. (To Reunite Blacks By Law Establishment) is an up-and-coming hip-hop artist from Memphis.
His latest EP, “Da Truth N Print”, serves as an introduction to this artist before he releases his full-length debut.

Listeners to this EP will be treated to a mixture of street tales, introspection, and a few light-hearted tracks.
Track 1, “Say Hi to the Bad Guy”, uses a vocal sample from Jay-Z.  T.R.U.B.B.L.E. keeps stories of his youthful indiscretions entertaining with such lines as “So much armor you can call me Mega Man” & “No more waiting on bread crumbs from master, I’m trying to get a piece of this pie faster”.  The crime themes continue on Track 2,
“Bad Publicity”, where he talks about federal agents monitoring him and how he’s trying to avoid the fates of so many “hustlers” before him. On Track 3, “Street Credability”, we get more stories of surveillance and committing unsavory acts in the interest of survival. The mood lightens up on Track 4, “In My Throwback”, a light-hearted tale of wearing jerseys and hats of now-defunct sports teams or vintage logos of current teams with a very catchy beat that begs for radio play.
T.R.U.B.B.L.E. finds a happy medium with Track 5, “Straight Hustlin”. On this track, he talks about hustling on the corner over another catchy, radio-friendly beat.  Track 6, “Understand My Pain”, is a moment of clarity in which T.R.U.B.B.L.E. questions the life that he’s lived and the decisions he’s made. The imagery T.R.U.B.B.L.E. uses is graphic & bleak, but the hook offers hope with the lyrics “We gotta wait until the sunlight shines around us”.
The last two tracks, “2 Fresh (Remix) & “Frosty the Hustle Man” are infectious, fast-paced tunes that round out the album nicely. Both songs seem to be tailor-made for jookin. “Frosty the Hustle Man” begins with the beat of a popular children’s song, but morphs into a hard-hitting beat that has the potential to become a street anthem. T.R.U.B.B.L.E. has delivered a very balanced EP that combines interesting subject matter, crisp delivery, and top-notch production. If this EP is any indication, T.R.U.B.B.L.E. has the potential to be an interesting new voice in the Memphis rap game.
